Look at these exotic sisters (?). We met them on a very short trip at Payo Village, Jailolo, West Halmahera. The girl on the left, who’s holding doll, stroke a ‘pose’ and and ‘asked’ for our attention. While the one on the right, was a bit shy. But oh my, her hair is so cute!

My boyfriend inspired by a witty tumblr blog where the artist plays along with other people noses and create a ninja turtle from it. I’m happy to get the free-spirited Michelangelo (not Michaelangelo, as people used to mispelled his name) as my nose! :D

Michelangelo (Mike or Mikey) — Easy-going and free-spirited, Michelangelo wears an orange mask and wields a pair of nunchaku. Michelangelo provides much of the comic relief, most of the time. He is the youngest of the four Turtles. While he loves to relax and eat pizza, this Turtle also has an adventurous and creative side. He’s something of the “surfer” boy, speaking usually in a Southern California accent. He is named after the Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer, Michelangelo Buonarroti. His name was originally misspelled “Michaelangelo” by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman.
Harijadi Sumodidjojo (1919-1997) is an Indonesian realist artist. In this picture, he (on the right) was in the middle of the process of making relief at the Kemayoran airport in Jakarta. As you can see, he was wearing a very fashionable biker-style outfit. Some might say he was a biker himself. Harijadi believed that being an artist doesn’t mean you have to look sloppy.
